Eric Celie er lam fra halsen og ned efter en trafikulykke i 2008. Ved hjælp af to Armon Ayura armstøtter, specialdesignede håndledskinner og en robotarm er han i stand til at køre sin kørestol og selv spise og drikke.
I denne lille film fortæller Eric og hans kone, Hilde, om at komme tilbage til livet efter ulykken, at blive boende hjemme og hvordan de rette hjælpemidler kan give livslysten tilbage.
